Mathilda Andersson - Copywriter & Internet Marketing Specialist

My Role Here

I started out at e-CBD as Social Media Account Manager fill-in while Susannah was away on maternity leave back in 2019. Upon her return, my role shifted away from the social media marketing landscape and more into the exciting world of copywriting, SEO and all things internet marketing. What has never changed about my role here however is my involvement in (and passion for) creating engaging content for the web - in any way, shape or form.

I also manage the biscuit situation at work.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Journalism, majoring in Public Relations.

How The Web Lured Me

I like words. Because when you put words together into sentences, you’re telling a story. I’ve been a story teller my whole life, so in 2011 I decided to make my passion my career by studying Journalism at Griffith University. During my studies I quickly learned the future in writing is online. Today I’ve been working as a Digital Content Creator for almost 7 years – and I love it!

Relaxing After Work Like...

I don’t relax, I go to the gym (I’m very quick on a bike). And well, occasionally I like to drink wine, preferably outside and in good company.

You're stuck on a deserted island, food and shelter are sorted - what 3 things do you take with you?

Coffee, an endless supply of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, and some excellent company (this would have to be my partner as we are working on a choreographed dance routine à la Glee at the moment and this would give us ample time to practice).
