e-CBD Christmas Newsletter 2014
It’s been another great year for e-CBD and we’re proud to say we’ve done some fantastic work. We’ve built some beautiful websites over the past year, including Objects of Interest, Lewis & Love, La Mia Bella Casa, and a remake of Inspect My Home to name a few.
Another exciting achievement is the new reporting system for our SEO clients. We always want to keep our clients up to date on the performance of their website so we’ve developed a system in-house to generate monthly reports that are clear and easy to understand. This means you know how your website is performing each month, and we can spend more time working on improving your visibility online.
Before we finish up for the year we wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas, announce the news that we’re a finalist for the MACCAs awards, as well as leave you with some tips on managing your emails over the break.
Award Nominations
We’re happy to announce that we are finalists in the 2014 MACCAs Media Awards Best Website category for Animal Welfare League NSW. This is the third year we’ve been nominated for the award and we’ve already taken it out for both 2012 and 2013. Winners for 2014 will be announced this weekend.
A Hard-Earned Break
So after a busy year, we’ll be taking a break from the office over the Christmas and New Year period. Our last day will be Thursday, December 18, but we’ll return on Monday, January 5 in 2015. If there are any urgent matters over the holiday period there will be some staff on call, so keep calm and drop Marilyn a line at marilynstrauss@e-cbd.com
Checking Emails Over Christmas
If you want to keep abreast of everything while you’re out of the office (and you’re hosted with Ilisys), you’ll be able to use webmail to view all your email accounts.
Your webmail password is the same as the one you use in Outlook (or your iPhone, Blackberry etc.). If you’ve forgotten your password give us a call before the 18th.
Setting up a Vacation Message
If your emails are hosted with us you can easily let people know you’re away by logging in to the Ilisys Toolkit and setting up an automated vacation message which will be sent to anyone who emails you.
Under the ‘My Services’ column on the left, there’s a menu item called ‘Email Setup’. Select that and you’ll see the email addresses associated with your domain name – pick the one you want and select the ‘Enable a vacation message’ box.
If you aren’t hosted with Ilisys, ask your web provider if they can do the same thing. It should be a pretty simple option to set up
