Welcome to the latest issue of the e-CBD newsletter. There’s been some interesting changes in the online world of late and we’d like to pass the information on to you.

Changes to your email settings

There’s good news for all of us using multiple devices to check email (which is most of us, right?). Whether you’re receiving emails on your mobile, tablet, desktop or laptop, there’s no longer any need to change your outgoing mail servers. If your emails are hosted with Ilisys, you can now use their outgoing mail service provider!

All you need to do is change your outgoing SMTP email settings to the following:

SMTP server address: smtp.secure-mail.com.au
SMTP port: 25 or 587
SMTP SSL: Yes (TLS or AUTO)
SMTP username/password: Same as username & password used to check your incoming mail.

Please make sure you set up your emails with a POP account and set all your devices to leave a copy on the server for 5 days.

New rules for Facebook Cover Photos

There’s some great news for those of you on Facebook. The social media giant has finally changed their guidelines to allow text in cover photos. This means you can include phone numbers, slogans, campaign information and even calls to action on the most visible part of your Facebook page.

Your cover photo is an excellent spot for branding and also appears in the news feed each time you update the image. We can design an eye catching cover photo that draws attention to the best features of your business.
